Energy storage RS485 communication method - 400MW/800MWh grid-side electrochemical energy storage project in Fushan Town, Ningyang County, Tai 'an City, Shandong Province

The 400MW/800MWh grid-side electrochemical energy storage project in Fushan Town, Ningyang County, Tai 'an City, Shandong Province is located in Fushan Town, Ningyang County, Tai 'an City, Shandong Province. It has a available land area of 36,866.8 square meters and an in-transit investment of 1.3 billion yuan. It is a grid-side electrochemical energy storage power station with a scale of 400MW/800MWh. The main equipment includes prefabricated cabins for lithium iron phosphate energy storage batteries, integrated electrical rooms, PCS containers, main transformers, etc. The scale of the energy storage system project is 400MW/800MWh, with a battery compartment of 6.88MWh*120. There are 120 sets of PCS step-up integrated compartments, which are step-up to 35kV, collected through multiple collection lines to the step-up station, and then step-up to 220kV through 2*240MVA transformers. It is connected to the Ningyang Caishan 220kV Substation of State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company via a 220kV line.

Application sites

  • Battery production workshop

The preparation and liquid injection processes of positive and negative electrode materials for lithium batteries may come into contact with organic solvents (such as dimethyl carbonate), and the concentration of flammable gases needs to be monitored near the coating machine and liquid injection equipment.

  • Photovoltaic power station

Equipment such as photovoltaic inverters and energy storage battery compartments may release hydrogen due to faults (such as thermal runaway of lithium batteries). It is necessary to install alarm devices in battery rooms and equipment rooms to monitor the hydrogen concentration in real time and prevent the risk of explosion and combustion.

  • Hydrogen refueling station

Explosion-proof detectors should be installed in areas such as hydrogen refueling machines and hydrogen storage cylinder groups to link with emergency shut-off valves to prevent hydrogen leakage from causing explosions.

  • Hydrogen production/storage sites

Hydrogen leakage is prone to occur in electrolytic water hydrogen production workshops and high-pressure hydrogen storage tank areas. High-sensitivity alarms should be installed at pipe joints and valves, with the threshold set at 10% to 25% of the lower explosive limit (4%).
