Energy storage RS485 communication method - 200,000-800,000-kilowatt-hour grid-side energy storage power station project in Baoling, Baotou, Inner Mongolia

The 200,000-800,000-kilowatt-hour grid-side energy storage power station project in Bailing, Baotou, Inner Mongolia, is one of the first independent energy storage demonstration projects in Inner Mongolia and a key node grid-side energy storage power station demonstration project in the western Inner Mongolia power grid. It is of great significance for enhancing the power supply capacity of Baotou City, promoting the consumption of new energy, optimizing the distribution of power flows, and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction.

Gas detection system solutions

Application sites

  • Battery production workshop

The preparation and liquid injection processes of positive and negative electrode materials for lithium batteries may come into contact with organic solvents (such as dimethyl carbonate), and the concentration of flammable gases needs to be monitored near the coating machine and liquid injection equipment.

  • Wind power plant

Leakage of the hydraulic system inside the wind turbine tower may produce flammable gas. Detectors should be deployed in enclosed Spaces such as the nacelle and electrical control cabinet to prevent gas accumulation and accidents.

  • Hydrogen refueling station

Explosion-proof detectors should be installed in areas such as hydrogen refueling machines and hydrogen storage cylinder groups to link with emergency shut-off valves to prevent hydrogen leakage from causing explosions.

  • Hydrogen production/storage sites

Hydrogen leakage is prone to occur in electrolytic water hydrogen production workshops and high-pressure hydrogen storage tank areas. High-sensitivity alarms should be installed at pipe joints and valves, with the threshold set at 10% to 25% of the lower explosive limit (4%).
